Beach House Summer by Sarah Morgan

Image
Beach House Summer by Sarah Morgan is going to be categorized as a “beach read” but I feel like it’s so much more. There are so many emotions throughout the entire book and each one is felt deeply. It was very easy to connect with the characters and Joanna is a truly good person. If you enjoy second chances, this is the book for you.

Just Like Mother by Anne Heltzel

Just Like Mother by Anne Heltzel is a trip. Creepy and immersing, I didn’t put this down until 2 in the morning. I had to know what was going to happen. The character development of Maeve and Andrea, two complex people, was nuanced. Their arcs were completely satisfying, as was the conclusion to Just Like Mother.

On a Quiet Street by Seraphina Nova Glass

On a Quiet Street by Seraphina Nova Glass is a suspenseful story, one that doesn’t stop for a minute. The three women’s point of views are fascinating and while I didn’t love all of Paige’s actions, I grew to really respect her. The character development was and intensity is what brought this book to a solid 5 stars for me.

Starry-Eyed Love by Helena Hunting

Starry Eyed Love by Helena Hunting is AMAZING. I dropped what I was reading as soon as I got this and I have no regrets.    The snark, the sparks, it all adds up to a storyline that I loved. London was an absolute gem of a character, one that is easy to relate too. Her depth and flaws kept her interesting throughout. This is a series and I feel that it is beneficial to read them in order, even though there are different narrators. This book will put a smile on your face!

The Dachshund Wears Prada

What an amazingly fun rom-com! Such a nice break from the thrillers that I have been reading lately. The romance between Isla and Theo is such a delicious slow burn. I really thought these characters were perfect for each other and was rooting for them the entire time. If you’re looking for a sweet and fun story, this is for you.
