Good Rich People by Eliza Jane Brazier

 Good Rich People by Eliza Jean Brazier is a really powerful book. The writing is compelling, lyrical and extremely thought provoking. Lyla, Demi and Graham are not good people yet I couldn’t stop reading about them. I would have loved to hear more about Graham’s past but even without that, Good Rich People has good substance and the satire is hilarious.

  With Love, From Cold World by Alicia Thompson made me feel all the feels! It was fun and light in parts then angsty and heavy in the best ways possible. Enemies to lovers is my favorite trope and Thompson seamlessly incorporated it. Lauren’s standoffishness makes perfect sense when you find out more about her and I grew to really love her. Asa is the perfect foil for Lauren and how supportive their relationship becomes is inspiring. Also, did you see this cover? Gorgeous!

The Night She Went Missing by Kristen Bird

The Night She Went Missing by Kristen has a super interesting premise.     After being missing for over two months, Emily is found but can’t remember why she disappeared or what has happened to her. As three mothers try to figure out what has happened, more secrets are exposed. This was a slow burn, eventually leading to a conclusion that I figured out. I enjoyed the ride there and getting to know the foibles of these characters. This is Bird’s debut novel Ns I was surprised because of how smooth it was.
