Killing Time by Brenna Ehrlich


 Killing Time by Brenna Ehrlich was a really good read! I grew to really like Natalie, even though sometimes I was wondering what she was thinking. The way the intrigue with her mom played out was unique. This is considered a YA book but definitely read older to me. Natalie had a relationship but she was never only about the guy and never came off as immature. This story was easy to be drawn into and I finished it quickly. 

Synopsis: Summer in Ferry, Connecticut, has always meant long, lazy days at the beach and wild nights partying in the abandoned mansions on the edge of town. Until now, that is. 

  
Natalie Temple, who’s never been one for beaches or parties in the first place, is reeling from the murder of her favorite teacher, and there’s no way this true-crime-obsessed girl is going to sit back and let the rumor mill churn out lie after lie—even if she has to hide her investigation from her disapproving mom and team up with the new boy in town… 
  
But the more Natalie uncovers, the more she realizes some secrets were never meant to be told.

Well, Well. And another well. What a freaking book, people. I pretty much read it in one sitting, with only a break to ask my kids to leave mommy alone. The Amendment, follow up to the The Arrangement is non-stop suspense. You think you know what might be coming or who to trust but you’re never right. One of my favorite things about this book is the character development. The first book was all about the how and who but this sequel covered all of the why. Peter was not someone who came across as evil all the time. In fact, I compared him to Dexter in my head a few times. The Amendment was a truly enjoyable and crazy reading experience, something that KMod is famous for.

Here for the Drama by Kate Bromley

  I am not only Here for the Drama but I am here for this book. Kate Bromley had me laughing out loud so many times. Witty banter and the situations that Winnie were in propelled this book at lightening speed. This isn’t all just laughs though. There were deep emotions that were portrayed in a very real way. I really enjoyed this one.
